BUSINESS: Red Berry Recruitment celebrates nine nominations in tenth anniversary year

IT has been quite a year for Somerset-based recruitment agency Red Berry Recruitment.

As well as celebrating the company’s tenth year in business, ‘the Berries’ have also had an extremely successful awards season.

The company, owned by managing director Helen Lacey, has been shortlisted for no less than nine awards during 2017.

The year began with Red Berry Recruitment being named the South West Region Category Winner at the FSB and World Pay Awards in April.

Loretta Moore, branch manager and recruitment consultant from Red Berry’s Shepton Mallet office, was then crowned Employee of the Year at the Western Gazette Business Awards in June.

Loretta was also a finalist in the Rising Star Category at September’s Business Leader Awards which is a fantastic achievement.

This was followed by the company being shortlisted for Business of the Year (11-25 employees), Young Business Employee of the Year and selected as a finalist for Marketing and Promotion at the prestigious Somerset Business Awards.

The Red Berry marketing team was just pipped to the post for the Marketing and Promotion award, being named as runner-up at the prestigious awards ceremony that was held in Taunton and celebrated the successes of the business community in Somerset.

Red Berry’s most recent success brings with it national recognition in the form of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) awards.

These awards are the most impressive industry recognition awards and individual can achieve and pitches nominees from across the UK against each other.BUSINESS: Red Berry Recruitment celebrates nine nominations in tenth anniversary year

The winners will be announced on 6th December at an esteemed awards ceremony in London.

Red Berry Recruitment’s MD Helen Lacey said: “Being short-listed for so many awards, especially during our tenth year in business, is a real compliment to myself and everyone at Red Berry Recruitment.

“I am extremely proud of my business and of my team and receiving recognition, especially national recognition in the case of the IRP awards, is something I couldn’t be happier or more excited about.”
