JOBS: Brewers Arms looks for a second chef

AN AWARD-WINNING pub at South Petherton is looking for a second chef to join its successful team.

The Brewers Arms is hoping to recruit an assistant to the head chef in this busy and flourishing village free house.

The successful applicant will need to be passionate about food and its appearance, able to work under pressure in a busy environment and be a good team player.

Other key attributes are being enthusiastic and self-motivated, well organised, determined to succeed and reliable and hardworking.

Duties will include food preparation and cooking, stock management and ordering, menu design and costing, as well as maintaining kitchen hygiene to a five-star food hygiene rating.

Experience in a similar role is preferred, but consideration will be given to recently qualified chefs looking to move up the ladder in their career.
