BUSINESS: Lynx2Business group going from strength to strength

A NEW Yeovil-based business group is already starting to flourish despite having only been running for the past few weeks.

Lynx2Business meets every Tuesday morning at the Yeovil Golf Club and is being designed to be a networking group with a difference and is working on three key words of "visibility, credibility and profitability."

It is trying to get away from the traditional networking ethos – which might put some people off - and move more towards allowing people to get to know other businesses and helping each other and passing on potential leads, ideas, information and advice.

Lynx2Business is being chaired by local solicitor Richard James, a partner with Solicitors Title LLP, with support from Shayne Walters, of SW Autotech motor services, and Mathew Wood, of Orchards Estates property agents.

The group has had a number of visitor mornings at its Tuesday breakfast meetings and organisers have been delighted with the way things have gone so far with more than 20 businesses having signed up.

The group has welcomed people from all kinds of different businesses and is already showing signs of going from strength to strength.
