TWO people had to be rescued today (Saturday, August 3, 2013) by firefighters after they got stuck in a lift at Wyndham Court in Yeovil. The alarm was raised at just before 10.30am and two fire engines from Yeovil were mobilised to deal with the incident. A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two people were released unharmed from the lift.”
