YEOVIL NEWS: Man gets stuck after falling at bus station toilets

EMERGENCY services were called out after a man had fallen and got stuck in the public toilets at Yeovil Bus Station.

A fire engine from Yeovil was called to the bus station by Glovers Walk at about 5.30pm on Sunday (February 12, 2017) after a request was made by the police.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The police told us that a gentleman had fallen in the public toilets at the bus station and get wedged between the toilet and the cubicle door.

“Shortly after arriving and liaising with the police, our crew was able to release him from the cubicle.”

The spokesman added: “Duty of care was left with the police and were awaiting an ambulance.”
