SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Vehicle fire at village school

FIREFIGHTERS from Ilminster were called out this afternoon (Wednesday, January 13, 2016) to deal with a vehicle on fire at Hambridge School.

Several calls were received by the Fire Service about the incident at around 2.30pm and one fire engine from Ilminster was mobilised.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival, crews confirmed that the vehicle was well alight. The vehicle was severely damaged by fire and the cause was accidental.”

Duty of care left with the police.
