CARNIVAL: All the results from Chard Carnival 2015

HARLEQUIN Carnival Club took a clutch of awards home to Ilminster last night (Saturday, October 10, 2015) after wowing the judges once again with their amazing Fogg’s World Tour cart at Chard Carnival.

They were voted best feature cart and gained a further six cups for best public choice, best costume on a float, best music, best tractor/lorry, best routine and most original entry.

The big Chard favourites from Eclipse CC – making up for having to miss out on last weekend’s Ilminster Carnival due to technical issues - also gained a number of honours for their 2015 entry Madagascar Europe’s Most Wanted. They won the best cart from Chard and the most colourful.

Poppe Inn CC won the best local village entry, while Mini Tizzys CC claimed the best youth walking entry from Chard title with Circus Comes to Town.

One of the big winners on the night were Friends CC with Jewels of India who gained a number of awards including the Mayor’s Choice and Spirit of Carnival.
