SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Faith restored over return of lost phone

A VISITOR to the fair in Ilminster earlier this month has had his faith restored in human nature after having his lost mobile phone returned to him.

Maurice Hooper was at the Marshall Herbert’s Fair on Friday, October 2, 2015, when he somehow managed to unknowingly lose his phone.

But he said: “Somebody picked it up and redialled the last number saying that they had found the phone and wanted to return it.

“The person who was phoned then went to the fair to collect it and it was then returned to me.”

Maurice added: “How fantastic that there are honest people in the world willing to return lost property.

“I can’t thank this person enough and I hope they had a great evening at the fair.”
