SOMERSET NEWS: Man dies in car crash

A 27-YEAR-OLD man who died in a fatal collision in Somerset in the early hours of Saturday (May 30, 2015) has been named.

Robert Goodwin, of Highbridge, died when the car he was travelling in left The Causeway at Mark and ended up submerged in a rhyne.

Another man, also aged 27, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on bail until July while police investigations continue.

Police received a call at just after 5.15am yesterday morning from the South West Ambulance Service about the incident.
