YEOVIL NEWS: Kitchen fire in Hendford Grove

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this morning (Saturday, February 28, 2015) to deal with a kitchen fire at a home in Yeovil

The alarm was raised at just before 5.45am to the incident in Hendford Grove and two fire engines from Yeovil were mobilised.

Firefighters discovered a fire in the kitchen of the first-floor flat and dealt with it.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “There was moderate fire damage to the room. The cause of the fire was accidental.”
