PUB NEWS: Tasty way to raise funds for Children in Need

A DELICIOUS cake sale was held at the Prince of Wales pub at the Ham Hill Country Park today (Saturday, February 21, 2015) to raise money for the annual Children in Need Appeal.

Amy Holroyd, ten, who is the daughter of the pub’s licensees Mike and Nicki, was joined by pals Ruby Keyte and Daisy Cooke for the sale.

They were blessed by decent weather which ensured there was a busy crowd of passers-by and dog walkers at Ham Hill who not only took the opportunity to get some refreshments at the popular Prince of Wales pub, but also buy some yummy cakes to swell the coffers for the BBC’s long-running annual Children in Need Appeal.
