SOMERSET NEWS: Fire at Norton Fitzwarren home

TWO people suffered from smoke inhalation this morning (Sunday, February 15, 2015) following a fire at a home near Taunton.

The alarm was raised at just after 6am and three fire engines from Taunton were called out to deal with the incident at Fitzroy, Norton Fitzwarren.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “There was a fire on the first floor. Two people suffered light smoke inhalation.”

Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus dealt with the incident with the fire between floors of the building.
