CHRISTMAS 2014: All aboard the Santa Special!

THE final day of the Santa Specials takes place later today (Tuesday, December 23, 2014) at the Yeovil Railway Centre.

Around 1,000 people will have taken a ride on the Santa Special in the build-up to Christmas this year with previous events being held on December 7 and December 20-21.

The centre will be open from 10am to 4pm and it will cost £8 per person in advance or £7.50 per person for parties of eight or more – if booked in advance. It will cost £10 per person on the day, subject to availability.

Visitors will be able to go on the Santa Special train, then visit the Transfer Shed which has been decked out in festive style and children will be able to go meet Father Christmas himself in his special Grotto.

There is also the café where people will be able to enjoy refreshments, while snow will fall to add to the festive experience.
