SOMERSET NEWS: Kitchen fire at Taunton home
FIREFIGHTERS were called out this morning (Sunday, October 26, 2014) to deal with a kitchen fire at a Somerset home.
The alarm was raised at just after 11am to the incident at a property in Eastgate Gardens, Tancred Street in Taunton.
A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two fire engines from Taunton were mobilised to reports of a small fire.
“On arrival the crews confirmed that the small fire had involved paper on a cooker hob, but was out on their arrival.”
The spokesman added: “A safety inspection of the premises was carried out.”
