SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Garage fire at Bruton

FIREFIGHTERS were called out after a fire broke out in a garage block in Bruton.

Three fire engines from Castle Cary, Wincanton and Shepton Mallet were mobilised at just before 9pm tonight (Friday, September 26, 2014) to the incident in Priory Road, Bruton, involving one garage in a block of four.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman told the Yeovil Press: “On arrival the officers found a garage to be well alight. The cause of the fire was believed to have been caused accidentally within a tumble drier.”
