SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Children’s Carnival in Ilminster

EVERYTHING is set for this weekend’s Ilminster Children’s Carnival.

Children and youth groups will gather tomorrow (Saturday, September 27, 2014) at the Ile Youth Centre in Ilminster in readiness for judging at 1pm.

The procession will then head off from the youth centre at about 1.45pm through the town, down North   Street and then back to the starting point before dispersing.

Motorists are warned that the town centre roads may be closed around that time, but not for long in any one place.

A Carnival spokesman said: “Please come along and line the streets to cheer on the children.”

The photos are just a reminder of some of the fab entries Ilminster Children's Carnival attracted last year.
