SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Horse loose on A303 after crash

THERE was traffic chaos on the A303 near Ilminster this morning (Monday, September 1, 2014) after an accident involving three vehicles which resulted in a horse getting loose on the road.

The three-vehicle collision – including a horse box - happened at just after 10.30am.

Firefighters discovered two walking wounded casualties and one other person who was trapped inside the wreckage, while one horse was loose on the road.

Another horse was trapped within the horse box and was released safely with the help of a vet who was also at the scene.
