SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Woman gets stuck in lift

A WOMAN was left suffering from shock this morning (Wednesday, August 20, 2014) after getting stuck in a lift in Ilminster.

The alarm was raised at just after 9am to the incident in Ile Court and one fire engine from Ilminster was mobilised.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service told the Yeovil Press: “Officers were able to release one female from the lift by using small tools and lift keys."

The spokesman said an ambulance was also requested for the lady who was suffering from shock.
