SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Rescued from roof

AN EIGHTEEN-YEAR-OLD had to be rescued last night (Monday, July 28, 2014) from the roof of a property.

Firefighters from Wincanton, Yeovil and Castle Cary attended the scene in Upper High Street, Castle Cary, at around 11.15pm.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service told the Yeovil Press: “The hydraulic platform from Yeovil was requested in order to rescue the boy.”
