SOMERSET NEWS: Oil-fired boiler fire at home

FIREFIGHTERS from across the county attended a fire at a home this evening (Tuesday, June 3, 2014) in Somerset.

Fire crews from Somerton, Martock and Taunton attended the incident at Currywoods Way in Curry Rivel at just after 6.30pm.

Officers found the fire was contained to the oil-fired boiler.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire is believed to have been caused by an accident.”
