YEOVIL NEWS: Vintage Market hailed a success

THE first Vintage Market took place in Yeovil on Saturday (May 31, 2014) at King George Street and was declared a resounding success by traders and visitors alike.

The market had a wonderful atmosphere with some amazing stalls selling good quality vintage and collectable items. In addition to this, there was some lovely music provided by a variety of buskers and a great number of children enjoyed the face painting and craft making supplied by Yeovil Community Church.YEOVIL NEWS: Vintage Market hailed a success

Baroness Cathy Bakewell, of South Somerset District Council, said: “The market was vibrant and busy. I am thrilled that all those involved have made it a really great place to shop, browse and to simply linger and soak up the atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to the next one in June.”

The Vintage Market will be running on every fourth Saturday from June until October.
