SOMERSET NEWS: Missing teenager Phoebe Lock found safe - man arrested on suspicion of abduction

MISSING Somerset teenager Phoebe Lock has been found safe and well tonight (Saturday, May 24, 2014) in Swindon.

Phoebe, 13, had been missing since Wednesday (May 21, 2014) when she was last seen in the Leigh-on-Mendip area near Frome.

But police have announced in the past hour (timed at midnight Saturday/Sunday) that she has been found safe.

A police spokesman said: “We would like to thank the public, Phoebe’s family and the media for their support during their search.

“Phoebe will now be reunited with her family.”

The police have confirmed, however, that a man who was with Phoebe has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction.
