SOMERSET NEWS: Woman given medical help after fire
A WOMAN needed medical help this morning (Saturday, May 24, 2014) after suffering from smoke inhalation at a fire in a Somerset home.
Three fire engines from Burnham-on-Sea and Bridgwater, along with a water carrier, were mobilised at just before 11am to the incident at a property in Church Road, West Huntspill, near Burnham.
The blaze was within the utility room of the property and suffered from smoke and fire damage.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “One adult female was given oxygen therapy by crews because she was suffering from smoke inhalation and she was left in the hands of ambulance personnel.”
