SOMERSET NEWS: Police appeal for missing Phoebe to contact her family

MISSING Somerset 13-year-old Phoebe Lock has been asked to contact her family to let them know she is okay.

Police are continuing their search for Phoebe who has now been missing since Wednesday (May 21, 2014) night when she was last seen in the Leigh-on-Mendip area near Frome at around 9pm.SOMERSET NEWS: Police appeal for missing Phoebe to contact her family

Police have today (Saturday, May 24, 2014) appealed for the teenager to contact her family or officers would like to hear from her friends who she may have contacted to confirm she is alright.

There is growing concern for her safety and it is believed that Phoebe is with an older boy that she recently met.

It is not known whether Phoebe is still in the Avon and Somerset force area.

Temp Det Sgt Jamie Bullivant said: “We want to stress to Phoebe that she is not in trouble, but her family is keen to know she is alright.

“Phoebe has now been missing for three days and we are keen to hear from her or anyone she may have contacted to confirm that she is okay.”

Phoebe is a white girl, 5ft 8ins tall, with very long light brown hair and wears distinctive purple-framed glasses.

Phoebe or anyone else able to help is asked to make contact with police on 101 and quote MP1530/14.
