SOMERSET NEWS: Child locked in car

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this afternoon (Good Friday, April 18, 2014) after a two-year-old child got locked in a car in Somerset.

The alarm was raised at just before 1pm to the Tesco supermarket car park at Love Lane in Burnham-on-Sea.

Officers forced entry into the car by removing the front passenger window.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The child was released from the car and reunited with parent.”
