Youngsters enjoy getting some early driving lessons

CHILDREN aged from 11 to 16 were given an early introduction to driving today (Saturday, March 15, 2014) at Yeovil Town FC.

Thankfully the Glovers were away in Sky Bet Championship action at Queens Park Rangers in London – so the car park at Huish Park was completely empty for tutors from the Somerset Driving Academy to offer the young drivers some tuition.Youngsters enjoy getting some early driving lessons

Tammie Lloyd, of Yeovil, had three children take the opportunity of getting behind the wheel – India, 16, Abraham, 15, and 11-year-old Vini.

And they loved it!

Tammie said: “It was a great introduction to driving for them and done in a safe and controlled area.

“Business was steady for the Somerset Driving Academy; they always had someone in one of the two cars available.

“It was very well organised.”

There will be more Young Driving Experience days at Yeovil Town FC – organised by the Somerset Driving Academy – later this year.
