Two rescued from vehicle stuck in floodwater
TWO people had to be rescued last night (Wednesday, January 1, 2014) after their vehicle got stuck in floodwater.
Two fire engines from Martock were called to the scene at Deadlands Lane in East Lambrook at just after 9pm.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews wore drysuits to get to the vehicle and rescue the two people.”
The Fire Service has advised people not to drive through floodwater.
