Yeovil's idiot drivers are causing problems

DRIVERS described as “idiots” have been blamed for accidents on one of Yeovil’s busiest residential roads.

There have been a number of accidents along Stourton Way on the Abbey Manor estate where the road bends sharply between the entrance to the Forum shopping area down to the junction with Beaulieu Drive.

And there was no doubting as to what Cllr Peter Seib thought was causing the problems.

“Excessive speed and idiot drivers,” he told members of Brympton Parish Council this week.

Cllr Graham Pritchard said: “The road goes into a bend and sharpens quickly and drivers are going too fast.”
