The council's Deputy Leader, Cllr Tim Carroll, said: "We at the district council have been only too aware especially during this current recession how difficult it can be for many people to find a housing solution that suits them.

"We have organised this event which brings together a host of professionals across the housing and financial sectors to offer free advice. I would encourage everyone to take advantage of this event and come along and find out what may be available.”
