Fiona Donaldson, head of Sixth Form, said: “This year’s results are really fabulous.  The girls have worked so hard throughout the year and have been such fun to teach.

"I am delighted that they have achieved the grades they need to further their education and the majority will go on to study at the University of their choice.”

In addition to the superb number of A-grades, this years’ results equal the tremendous percentage awarded for A*- C grades last year, when the school achieved the best results for the last six years.

Headmistress, Nicola Botterill, added: “I could not be happier with the results achieved this year; especially as this is my first year as headmistress at the school.

"I am passionate about education and we are constantly looking at new ways to instil excellence in everything we do – these outstanding results show we are going from strength to strength and I am especially looking forward to the new academic year with our newly remodelled Sixth Form centre,” she added.
