Charities to benefit at Wessex Truck Show

FUNDS for the St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice and the British Institute for Brain Injured Children will benefit from a charity truck pull at this weekend’s Wessex Truck Show in Yeovil.

As well as 350 vehicles booked in to appear at the event at Yeovil Showground in Dorchester Road, Yeovil, on Saturday and Sunday (August 10-11) there will be more than 40 trade stands, a farmer’s market, craft fair, remote-controlled model truck display, funfair, and static display of tractor-pulling machines.

There will also be a charity truck pull event where teams of six people can enter to pull a seven-ton tractor unit to raise funds for St Margaret’s Hospice and BIBIC.
