Racer Oliver James at Wessex Truck Show

BRITISH truck racer Oliver James will be at this weekend’s Wessex Truck Show at the Yeovil Showground.

Oliver will be bringing his racing truck and pit crew vehicles to the show on Saturday and Sunday (August 10-11) as well as the only two UK spec Scania longlines in the country owned by KER Transport of Bournemouth.

There will also be various airbrushed vehicles at the show with the themes of the Ice Road Truckers, the Rocky movies, the Avengers, the Hangover, Formual One drives and the fantastic Afghan Heroes vehicle supporting the Help for Heroes charity.

Yeovil Ales will be on hand to provide the on-site bar facilities and there will be live evening music entertainment from two live bands and also new local radio station Abbey 104 FM will be providing the Saturday evening disco.

Also in attendance will be the world’s toughest trucker competitor Mike Thomas-Clark to sign autographs.
