Child injured after hit by flying eggs
A CHILD was injured when hit by somebody throwing eggs at them in Yeovil.
Police are appealing for information following the incident on Wednesday, July 17, sometime between 2.30pm and 4pm.
A police spokesman said: “A white van was driving in the area of St John’s Road and St Michael’s Avenue and the occupants began throwing eggs at school children walking hom.
“A child was hit and suffered bruising.”
The spokesman added: “We’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident and saw the registration of the van.
