Fight Back Britain - Yeovil people are needed!

TV programme producers are hoping to film part of a new series called Fight Back Britain right here in Yeovil - but they need YOUR help.

RDF Television, the makers of programmes such as Secret Millionaire and Britain’s Brightest, is producing a new BBC series about crime and anti-social behaviour and they are looking for inspirational stories from across the UK.

They are keen to hear from members of the community who have turned the tables on the crooks with the aid of video surveillance, photo evidence or just good old fashioned cunning!

Series producer Fiona Inskip said: “With over half the population in the UK now owning a Smartphone capable of taking photos and video footage whenever and wherever, people everywhere are making a difference in the fight against crime and antisocial behaviour.

''What’s more, everyday more and more of us are using technology such as CCTV and computer software programs to protect our homes and possessions. We’d love to hear from anyone who has helped the police to solve a crime, no matter how big or small.''
 
The series will air later this year on BBC1 and will tell stories through interviews and reconstructions in the hope that we can raise awareness on how crimes can be committed and how criminals may operate.
