Info event at University Centre Yeovil for budding students

YEOVIL's very own University Centre is holding an Information Event on Friday, March 1, between 2pm and 4pm where potential students can find out all about the degrees and professional courses available in Yeovil.

The University Centre is a partnership between BournemouthUniversity, the University of the West of England, the University of Gloucestershire, Swansea Metropolitan Trinity St Davids University and Yeovil College.

It is dedicated to the provision of Higher Education (HE) in Yeovil and offers a range of full and part-time degrees and professional courses including Foundation, Honours and Master’s degrees.  Access courses are also available for those wishing to build knowledge and confidence before embarking on a HE course.Info event at University Centre Yeovil for budding students

On March 1 visitors will be able to find out more about the courses on offer from teaching staff, tour the dedicated HE campus and get finance, accommodation and travel advice from our friendly admissions team.

A University Centre spokesman said: ''I can’t emphasise enough the importance of seeing what the college and its university partners offer at the University Centre Yeovil.

''The key components of the University Centre are accessibility, flexibility and quality of provision.  We are here for the whole community and our location means that many students can continue to meet work and family commitments while studying. ' 

Recent courses introduced at the University Centre include Master’s and Honours degrees in Personal and Professional Development, an Honours degree in English with History or History with English and Foundation degree in Print.  BA/BEng (Hons) Materials Engineering (Top Up) is also in development.
