Chimney fire at Watergore
FIREFIGHTERS were called out yesterday (Sunday, Oct 21) to deal with a chimney fire at a home near South Petherton.
The alarm was raised at just before 6.30pm to the property in Watergore. One fire engine from Martock attended the incident.
The crews worked from the hearth with chimney gear and from the roof using a triple extension ladder, roof ladder and other safety equipment.
