YEOVIL AREA NEWS: Barn fire at Chilthorne Domer
FIREFIGHTERS were called out on Sunday (August 13, 2017) night following reports of a barn on fire on the outskirts of Yeovil.
Crews from Yeovil and Martock investigated the scene at Kings Hill in Chilthorne Domer and found a barn – measuring about 25m x 25m – well alight.
The barn contained around 130 bales of hay.
Police were also in attendance and by 7am on Monday (August 14, 2017) the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service reported that one crew had remained at the incident throughout the night.
