YEOVIL NEWS: Vandals attack A Touch of Glass

A YEOVIL businessman is appealing for information after vandals tried to kick in the front door to his shop.

Well-known town centre trader Doug Bond, who runs A Touch of Glass in Church Street, was left fuming when he arrived at work on Wednesday (February 8, 2017) to find the glass in the front door cracked and footprints left as to where the offenders had put the boot in.

“If anyone has any idea as to who may have done this please let me know,” he said. “I would like them to help me replace the broken door.”

A Touch of Glass has been trading for well over ten years and is an independent glass and metal engraving specialists.

Anyone with information about the vandalism can contact Doug on 01935-411088 or pop into the shop which is just off Princes Street in Church Street heading towards St John’s Church.
