BUSINESS: Party provides fantastic support for Dementia UK charity

THE Sterling Care team in Yeovil was delighted that its fifth anniversary celebration helped to raise nearly £400 for charity.

An afternoon party was held at the Yeovil Day Centre on Wednesday (February 1, 2017) and there was a host of activities going on to keep visitors entertained.

A raffle was also held – with some fantastic prizes donated by local businesses – along with a fun game of bingo and they all contributed to a total of £389.51 being raised in aid of Dementia UK.

A spokesman for Sterling Care said: “Thank you so much to everyone who made our fifth anniversary party such an amazing event.”

Among the entertainment was live music from local schoolchildren.

Sterling Care was set up in March 2012 by Claire Tailby and Sarah Gilchrist who between them have more than 20 years’ experience in the care industry.
