YEOVIL NEWS: Fire station charity car wash is a big splash!
FIREFIGHTERS at Yeovil Fire Station would like to thank everyone who supported their charity car wash at the weekend.
The firefighters – armed with hoses, sponges and buckets – washed a fleet of vehicles which passed through the fire station on Saturday (October 8, 2016) in Reckleford.
They raised a fabulous sum of £1,030.30 which will be donated to the national Fire Fighters Charity.
“Thank you all so much for your kind generosity and support,” said a spokesman for the Yeovil station of the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
