SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Raising funds for Breast Cancer Care

HORNSBURY Mill was basked in sunshine this afternoon (Monday, August 29, 2016) for a Strawberry Tea Party fundraising event.

There were plenty of visitors to the picturesque hotel and wedding venue near Chard for the event which was raising money for Breast Cancer Care.

Among the visitors was the Mayor of Chard, Cllr Dave Bulmer, who officially opened the event.

The Strawberry Tea Party was held in honour of all the local ladies who have fought breast cancer.

Organisers Rachel Dunn and Amanda Broom would like to thank everyone who supported the event.

There was live music, pony rides, a raffle, fundraising games, stalls and lots of refreshments.
