YEOVIL NEWS: Two cars damaged in arson attack

ARSONISTS are being blamed for a car fire in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, February 23, 2016) in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at just after 1.30am to the problem in St George’s Avenue and one fire engine from Yeovil was mobilised.

Firefighters reported that one car was severely damaged by fire, while a second vehicle was also damaged.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause of the fire was deliberate.”
