YEOVIL NEWS: Coffee, cake and music for Macmillan

ACORN Records in Yeovil will be holding a fundraising coffee morning later this morning (Saturday, October 3, 2015) to hit the right note for Macmillan Cancer Support.

From 10am to midday the Acorn team will be selling coffee and cakes outside the shop by Waterloo Music in Hendford, Yeovil, as well as providing a jukebox for people to choose their favourite tunes.

Chris Lowe, of Acorn Music, said: “Our jukebox will be a little bit out of the ordinary and people will find out when they come along – but importantly it will be playing 7” singles form the 60s to the 00s.”

There will be plenty of fresh cakes to enjoy, as well as a free prize draw with the chance to win CDs and vinyl records.

“We would be delighted to see as many people as possible and hopefully raise a lot of money for this very worthwhile cause,” added Chris.
