SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Ilminster Mayor to engage with youth on Twitter

THE Mayor of Ilminster, Cllr Rose Neave, is to set up her own Twitter account in a bid to “engage with the younger generation.”

She made the announcement during last Tuesday’s (June 23, 2015) Ilminster Town Council meeting held at Greenfylde First School.

It was agreed that it would be stressed on her Twitter account that it would be the views solely of the Mayor as an individual and not the council as a whole.
