THE Castle pub and restaurant in West Coker is offering a mouth-watering menu for Easter Sunday freshly prepared by its new chef.

For starters you can choose between carrot and coriander soup or leek and potato soup, both of which will be served with a warm bread roll.

The selection of main courses are as follows: Locally sourced roast turkey crown served with stuffing, bacon wrapped chipolata, and cranberry sauce; Succulent roast beef, accompanied with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce. Both dishes are served with a selection of seasonal vegetables with a rich roast gravy.

The selection of homemade desserts are as follows: Belgian chocolate torte, served with vanilla ice-cream; Poached pear, served with a wine syrup and clotted cream; Delicious banana trifle.
