EASTER 2015: Chocolate eggs for Lord’s Larder in Yeovil

THE Yeovil-based Lord’s Larder charity has been delighted to receive a collection of Easter Eggs donated by Red Berry Recruitment.

The company, which has a number of offices in Somerset, has been collecting eggs from people for the Lord’s Larder which provides food for local families who find themselves struggling to make ends meet.

Red Berry’s managing director, Helen Lacey, said: “Our Yeovil and Shepton Mallet offices decided to team up and support the Lord’s Larder food bank in Yeovil by asking clients, candidates and the general public to donate an Easter egg for this local charity.

“Mat Callaghan from the Lord’s Larder was absolutely delighted with the donations and they will be greatly received in food parcels given to local families and children in the area who are in hardship or despair.”

Helen added: “We would like to thank all that donated an Easter egg such as Framptons Transport in Shepton Mallet for their generous donation of over 20 eggs and everyone else who contributed to the collection.”
