SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES: Semaine Francais est un magnifique succes

YOUNG members at the Sunny Ile Breakfast Club held at Greenfylde First School in Ilminster have been going all French.

The children have had great fun during a French Week in which have tasted new foods such as croissants, brioche and crepes.

They have also learnt lots of new French words and songs, while there were Lego-building competitions such as the Eiffel Tower.

Activities also included flags made out of Hama Beads.

Cheryl Herrick, of the breakfast club, said: “More themed weeks are being planned for this successful club which is nearing its second birthday.”

PS: For those of you who are interested. “Semaine Francais est un magnifique success” translated into English means “French Week is a magnificent success.”
