YEOVIL NEWS: Temporary closure of Hillcrest Road
TWO side streets off of Hillcrest Road in Yeovil will be closed to traffic from Monday (March 23, 2015) for resurfacing work.
Somerset County Council’s highways team will be carrying out the work from numbers 56-70 and from 134-148.
The temporary closure notice of these off-shoots of Hillcrest Road will remain in force for 18 months, but the actual resurfacing work should take seven days to complete, excluding the weekend.
Hillcrest Road is the link between Highfield Road and Grass Royal. The main Hillcrest Road will not be closed due to the resurfacing work which is being carried out in two of its off-shoot cul-de-sacs.
