YEOVIL NEWS: Man suffers smoke effects in house fire

A MAN needed medical treatment last night (Thursday, March 19, 2015) following a fire at a home in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at just before 10pm to the incident at the property in Milford Park and two fire engines from Yeovil were mobilised.

Firefighters discovered a small fire involving rubbish in a ground floor storage area.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “One man suffered smoke inhalation and was treated by ambulance personnel on the scene.

“The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.”
