SOMERSET NEWS: Recycling and rubbish collection date changes

THE Somerset Waste Partnership has announced there will be the usual changes for recycling and rubbish collection dates due to the forthcoming Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Collections due on Good Friday, April 3, 2015, will take place the following day on Saturday, April 4, 2015.

Easter Monday on April 6, 2015, will move all services in that week to one day later, including Friday’s pick-up on Saturday, April 11, 2015.SOMERSET NEWS: Recycling and rubbish collection date changes

The May Day Bank Holiday on Monday, May 4, 2015, mean all that week’s collections will again be one day later, including Friday’s pick-up taking place on Saturday, May 9, 2015.

Clinical and garden waste collections will also be affected by the bank holidays and will be collected a day later than normal.

Recycling Centres and Community Recycling Sites are open as usual.  Bridgwater, Frome, Minehead, Taunton and Yeovil recycling centres are open 8am-4pm seven days a week.  Other sites are open five days through the week including 8am-7pm on Mondays and 8am-1pm on Sundays.
